Our Charges – Equine

Caring for horses involves careful planning, especially when it comes to veterinary care. Understanding the likely costs involved can help you prepare for both routine and unexpected healthcare needs, allowing you to focus on the wellbeing of your horse.

Below, you’ll find a guide to the prices for a selection of our most frequently requested equine veterinary services. Please note that fees may vary depending on your horse’s age, size, condition, and specific requirements. All services are carried out by appointment only, either at your yard or, if appropriate, at our Newton Farm facility.

Insurance and Budgeting for Care

We strongly recommend equine insurance to help protect you from the financial impact of unforeseen illness or injury. Policies vary, so please ensure you understand what is covered, including any exclusions, limits, and excesses. If you are insured, do let us know—this helps us work with you to ensure treatments meet the terms of your policy.

In addition to insurance, we also offer an Equine Health Plan to help you budget for routine preventative care. This plan includes a range of essential services and allows you to spread the cost throughout the year. For full details, please visit our Equine Health Plan page.

What to Expect from Our Care

We aim to keep you informed every step of the way—discussing concerns, recommending investigations or treatments where appropriate, and providing clear cost estimates.
