We’ve been supporting the Dorset community for nearly a century, and have learnt a thing or two about great veterinary care in that time!

We’re committed to delivering a quality service across all disciplines, whether in-house for small animal clients or from the premises of large animal clients.

Our core Damory Lodge site in Blandford Forum is home to our 24/7 emergency service and comfortable inpatient facilities, while our ambulatory large animal departments cover Dorset, Purbeck, Wimborne, Shaftesbury, West Salisbury, Sturminster Newton, East Dorchester, Ringwood and Cranborne.

Our small animal team can treat dogs, cats, small furries and exotics, and offer a variety of services, including microchipping, parasite treatments, acupuncture and puppy parties.

If your pet needs to stay with us overnight, the hospital and inpatient facilities at our main site also mean that they will be well looked after by our attentive out of hours team.

First and foremost, we’re here for you. We hope that you choose to become a part of the next 100 years of our history!

Farm clients can make the most of routine services, bespoke health plans and knowledgeable team members with a great deal of experience working with cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and camelids.

Our equine offering encompasses everything from vaccinations and vettings to castrations and zone visits, with stocks, a treatment area, stables and an anaesthetic room available at our Newton Farm equine outpatient site.

🌍Our Commitment to Sustainability 🌱

At Damory Vets, we’re committed to making meaningful changes that support both the health of your pets and the health of our planet. We believe sustainability is about small, consistent actions that add up to a big difference, and we’re proud to be working towards a greener future for our community. 💚
🌱 Our Green Goals:
  • We aim to be 99% digital with all client communications by the end of 2026, helping us significantly cut down on paper usage.
  • We have planted and continue to maintain wildflowers around the practice, creating habitats for bees, butterflies, and other local wildlife.
  • We are dedicated to recycling wherever possible, ensuring we reduce waste and keep valuable resources in use for longer.
