Pigs

We are not pig specialists who travel the country but are very happy and qualified to deal with herd health and problems of our local commercial pig herds as well as the smallholding or pet animal. Whether it is the quarterly visit, pregnancy scans, blood testing to monitor for diseases or post mortems , please feel free to contact us.

Goats

We are qualified to treat all flock or individual problem in goats. Remember, goats are very susceptible to worms for their whole life, please ask for advice on worm control.

Camelids

We are serving a growing number of camelids (mainly alpacas), and have been involved in pregnancy scanning, microchipping, surgery (including castrations) and are happy to discuss any problems with you or draw up a management/health plan.

Poultry

We are serving two main groups – the poultry smallholder and the gamebird rearer. Our services include advice on disease and parasite control as well as solving flock problems. Lynn Broom has a keen interest in poultry and regularly sees chickens and ducks from small flocks, and is happy to discuss flock health. The practice has linked up with a specialist poultry practice in Devon via the Chicken Vet network.
