After turning up the main farm road turn right after 100 metres and follow the track round to the left . After barely another 100 metres you will see the clinic on the left: There is a sign on the doors of the barn and parking is in front on the concrete.

Surgical Facilities

There is a padded anaesthetic room to facilitate safer general anaesthetic inductions and recoveries. A range of surgical procedures are performed such as castrations (including retained testicles), dental extractions and tumour removals.

Stocks

Examination stocks are excellent for restraining horses whilst being examined. Manual rectal and internal ultrasound scans can be performed more safely. For example mares having an internal ultrasound scan prior to being inseminated artificially are less likely to require sedation.

On-site x-ray processing

We have facilities to develop  x-rays immediately. This is invaluable when working with farriers trimming the feet and helpful when performing a lameness investigation.

Trot-up and lunge areas

There are areas present to trot and lunge horses on both firm and soft surfaces when assessing and investigating lameness. A rubber-chip school is also available if we need to see a horse ridden.

Stabling

Two stables are available for patients recovering from surgery or sedation.
